WORKING HOURS IN PUBLIC, PRIVATE ORGANISATIONS DURING RAMADAN ANNOUNCED

H E Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and Chairman of the Civil Service Council issued a decision on Wednesday

stating that working hours in ministries, public authorities and other departments of the state’s administrative apparatus in Ramadan will be from 9am to 2pm.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Manpower (MoM) said that Muslim employees will work for six hours in private sector firms in Ramadan.

In an issued decision, H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Abdullah al Bakri, Minister of Manpower said. “Working hours for Muslims in the holy month of Ramadan will be six hours per day and 30 hours a week.”
